Join O, Miami to celebrate the ZipOde Atlas, our Ignite Broward Project in collaboration with Mad Arts.The ZipOde Atlas Holobox interface invites passersby to search for a poem written in honor of their neighborhood, sourced from O, Miami’s archive of over 20,000 ZipOde poems. Debuting in conjunction with our ZipOde anthology, Literally Everyone’s Invited, the ZipOde Atlas extends O, Miami’s mission to encourage all South Floridians to contribute to the narrative of this home we share.
Sip a poem-inspired beer from 3 Sons Brewing and learn to write a ZipOde poem—a 5-line poem that takes its form from the 5-digit zip code. Poems written on-site will be in consideration to inspire this year’s 3 Sons poetry brew.
O, Miami celebrates South Florida through the empathy-building power of poetry. We educate and engage communities using a process called Civic Publishing—providing resources for people to identify and express themselves through poetry, and publishing that poetry in public spaces and books. Our work invests in collaborative narratives of place, to create a more equitable future.
